Yes, according to this set of leaks, the Black Ops Multiplayer beta will become available as of September 1st. The first proof of Black Ops Multiplayer beta is a Google ad which invites folks to sign up for it as of September 1st. In addition to this, there are a couple of screenshots that show someone downloading a beta client of Black Ops multiplayer for PS3. On the official Call of Duty website, Activion and Treyarch are urging people to sign up for the beta on September 1st at 7:00 PM.
